Disposal
Due to US export regulations, the thermal imaging camera must be
returned to Dräger Safety for disposal.
Return the thermal imaging camera to Dräger Safety free of charge
when the thermal imaging camera’s end of service life is reached to
avoid any disposal problems. Contact Dräger Safety for further
information.
EC-wide regulations for the disposal of electric and
electronic appliances which have been defined in
the EU Directive 2002/96/EC and in national laws
are effective from August 2005 and apply to this
device. Common household appliances can be
disposed of using special collecting and recycling
facilities. However, as this device has not been
registered for household usage, it must not be
disposed of through these means. Please do not
hesitate to contact Dräger Safety if you have any
further questions on this issue.
Batteries
The battery should be properly disposed of according to the
applicable waste disposal regulations. Contact local authorities for
advice.
Do not dispose of by burning or forcibly opening the battery.
Accessories
The following accessories are optionally available.
Retractable lanyard
The retractable lanyard allows for easy carriage and quick use of the
camera while attached to the user’s belt or gear. The lanyard easily
retracts the camera back into place when not in use.
Handheld receiver
Compact robust and waterproof handheld receiver unit with
integrated LC display, rechargeable Li battery, video output, and
channel select button for use with the transmitter handle.
Command center
Receiver unit for portable and vehicle use in robust case with big
LCD screen including remote control, rechargeable battery, digital
video recorder. The unit can be operated with battery power, 12 V dc,
24 V dc, or 110/240 V ac.
Stand alone receiver
Small receiver unit without monitor with channel select button, video
output (BNC), antenna, power supply, and car adapter.
Tripod
The tripod allows for stationary viewing with the camera. The tripod is
screwed into the tripod and handle connection for use.
Mag mount antenna
High gain receiver antenna with magnet for easy mounting on metal
surfaces (e.g. car roof) including 2.5 m antenna cable.
Video adapter
The video adapter allows for direct connection of a receiver unit with
video output to a computer with USB connector.
Video cable
The video cable allows for direct connection of a receiver unit with
video output to a recorder unit or monitor with video input.
