EC type examination
Dräger Polytron 8100 with Dräger sensor O2 or Dräger sensor
O2-LS (Oxygen) 4-20 mA signal output and relay output in
accordance with BVS 13 ATEX G 001 X and PFG 14 G 001 X.
Fieldbus interfaces are not in accordance with BVS 13 ATEX
G 001 X
For the detection of oxygen-enriched atmospheres or
oxygen deficiency with a measurement range of
0-25 Vol% O2.
For inertization with a measurement range
0-5...25 Vol% O2.

Sensor Principle
The DrägerSensor O
2
(6809720) is an electrochemical two-
electrode sensor for measuring Oxygen (O
2
) in ambient air.
CAUTION
Specifications and restrictions in the Instructions for
Use and/or data sheets for the sensors used must be
observed. For SIL applications the Dräger Polytron
8x00 Safety Manual must be observed.
The measuring range and performance
characteristics are dependent on the installed sensor
(see the Instructions for Use and/or data sheet for the
installed sensors).
NOTICE
External or remote mounted sensors are not in
accordance with BVS 13 ATEX G 001 X and
PFG 14 G 001 X.
