Disposal
Disposing of the medical device
This product must be disposed of in accordance
with national regulations.
For countries subject to the EU
Directive 2002/96/EC
This device is subject to EU Directive 2002/96/EC
(WEEE). In order to comply with its registration
according to this directive, this device may not be
disposed of at municipal collection points for waste
electrical and electronic equipment. Dräger has
authorized a company to collect and dispose of
this device. To initiate collection or for further
information, visit Dräger on the Internet at
www.draeger.com. Use the search function with
the keyword "WEEE" to find the relevant
information. If access to the Dräger website is not
possible, contact the local Dräger organization.
Disposing of non-rechargeable batteries
Do not recharge the batteries.
The medical device battery contains pollutant
substances.
Only applicable in the Federal Republic of
Germany: In accordance with the Battery Act
(BattG), the end user is obliged to return batteries
that contain pollutants to the place of purchase or
dispose of them in public recycling centers. The
battery contained in the device therefore must be
removed by specialist personnel before disposing
of the device. In other countries than the Federal
Republic of Germany observe the applicable
national laws and regulations for battery disposal.
Disposal of accessories
Dispose of the following articles in accordance with
the hospital's hygiene regulations:

– Sterilizable handle
– Dräger disposable handle

Do not throw the batteries into fire or try to
