The main alarm can be adjusted

of 0-1.6 mg/m³. Confirm with "accept".
4.3.3 Reset to the factory settings
NOTICE
When resetting to the factory settings, all changes made,
such as adjustments to the response factor, are reset. In
addition, the PID 5000 must be recalibrated.
The PID 5000 can be reset to the factory settings as described
below.
1. Select the instrument menu (see chapter 4.3 on page 21).
2. Use the magnetic pen to tap on "menu" until "RESET"
appears on the display.
3. Select "run". The PID 5000 is reset to the factory settings.

Measuring time
The PID 5000 determines the concentration by calculating the
difference between the two gas inlets (measurement and
reference). To do so, the PID 5000 automatically switches
between both inlets. The switching interval is 20 seconds for
the gas inlet measurement and 40 seconds for the gas inlet
reference. The PID 5000 has a measurement delay / response
time of at least 60 seconds because of the duration of the
measurement.
