When the GPS module is active, it determines the device location during the device mea-
surement and adds the detected location coordinates to the saved data record in the data
memory.
The saved location coordinate can be read from the device using the PC program "Dräger
Diagnostics" (83 19 342 starting with version 1.60) (see “Data interface” on page 53) and
made available using the export function of PC programs (e.g. MS Excel or other visualiza-
tion programs).
During the test set-up time, the GPS signal quality and the successful location determina-
tion are shown for the user in the display.
The accuracy of the location information can be improved by a longer waiting time. The ac-
curacy is defined as follows:
» Device info. screen «
Activation/deactivation of the display of device information immediately after switch-on (dis-
play based on the basic settings of the device, e.g. date, time, end of calibration, device
temperature).
» User info. screen «
Activate or deactivate the display of the customer-specific information.
The customer-specific information is displayed when the device is switched on, prior to the
display of the activated device info screen.
With an activated display, up to 8 rows of 15 characters each can be entered with the
and
keys (digits and letters can be entered).
To end a row, press the
key until the row is reversed.
Confirm with the
key to save the selected text.
