WARNING
Risk of injury due to material transport near the device
There is a risk of crushing, trapping and injury by shearing with the conveyor (e.g. con-
veyor belt) near the device.
w Safety equipment, e.g. guard plates or ON/OFF switch for immediate shut-down of
the system should be provided by the operator.
w Activate all safety equipment and ON/OFF switch before start-up.
w Approach the device only when the entire system is switched off.
w
Before initial start of the entire system, check that all tools and foreign objects
have been removed.
CAUTION
Hearing injury and eye injury due to compressed air
Noise level can cause hearing injury.
Compressed air can move particles into the eyes of user.
w Always wear hearing protection when the compressed air nozzles are operating.
w In applications where pointed and burr particles (e.g. iron chips) can occur, always
wear protective glasses.
CAUTION
Pain when touching the rotating nozzle in operation
Touching the rotating nozzle in operation can be painful.
w Don't touch the rotating nozzle when operating.
1. Ensure that all connecting cables are correctly in place.
2. Switch on the power supply for the ionisers.
3. Turn on compressed air supply.
4. Set compressed air to operating pressure.
NOTICE
Equipment damage due to overpressure
Exceeding the maximum permitted air pressure can lead to damage to the rotating
nozzle. In this case the warranty becomes invalid.
w The operating air pressure in the rotating nozzle must not exceed the maximum
permitted air pressure.
5. Optimise the blowing effect by adjusting the compressed air via the filter control
valve.
6. Switch on suction system.
