ESUC 41/61/81

The integrated compressed air maintenance unit is equipped with a 5 µ filter which fil-
ters the solid particles. It is thereby assured that the integrated or connected compon-
ents are not damaged. If the compressed air quality at the input lies below this value it
is improved by the compressed air maintenance unit. If the compressed air at the input
is of a higher quality classification, the compressed air quality remains the same. The
integrated particle filter does not remove either oil or water.
The cleaning pressure and, if applicable, the pressure for the control air supply are set
by means of the regulator valves of the compressed air maintenance unit. By means of
the electric on-off valve of the compressed air maintenance unit the entire system is
switched on or off together.
The following options are possible:

▪ 1 regulator valve
▪ Several regulator valves
▪ Additional valves with switch-off delay
▪ Additional valves without switch-off delay

By means of additional valves, the compressed air can be pulsated and thus be
switched on only for the duration of the cleaning process. The duration of the com-
pressed air supply can be determined either via active on-and-off switching of the
valve or via active switching on with adjustable switch-off delay.
Compressed air control:

▪ Compressed air input pressure: The operational pressure is permanently mon-

itored.

▪ Operating air pressure: The working pressure of the cleaning device is monitored at

the regulator valve outlet during the cleaning process.

3.5.4 Output Air Suction and Filtering

The connected surface cleaning devices remove unwanted particles from the material
to be cleaned. To remove particles from the environment, they are transported via the
suction channels integrated in the cleaning system to the suction, filter and supply unit
ESUC. Suction is provided by a radial fan. By means of the suction, the contaminated
output air is transported via filters where the particles are deposited.
The variants differ in the suction power and the number of filters (see

}

 9.4 Output Air

Suction and Filtering [p. 35]).
Two heights of filter boxes are available which can be chosen according to application
and can be combined with each other:

▪ The higher model for bag filters (M5–F7) or high compact filters (H12–H13)
▪ The lower model for compact filters (M5–F7)

This results in various installation heights for ESUC.
The following options are possible:

▪ 1 filter stage for compact filter
▪ 1 filter stage for bag filter
▪ 2 filter stages for bag and compact filters (for ESUC 61/81)

HEPA filters may also be used for special applications.
