3.5 Function Principle
The ESUC suction, filter and supply unit provides all necessary functions for the opera-
tion of surface cleaning devices by Dr. Escherich GmbH.
3.5.1 High Voltage Supply
Dr. Escherich cleaning devices are designed with ionisers to remove the electrostatic
surface charge. ESUC generates the high voltage needed for this process in the AC ion-
isers with a HV transformer.
The following options are possible:
▪ Integrated HV module
▪ External HV power supply connected to ESUC
▪ Integrated control module for connecting DC ionisers
3.5.2 Option for Connecting Contact Cleaning Devices Model ROTORCLEAN
▪
The RC option
is used for operation of contact cleaning devices of the RO-
TORCLEAN type.
▪
The RCC option
is used for operation of contact cleaning devices of the RO-
TORCLEAN COMPACT type.
The ROTORCLEAN option is designed for operation of max. 2 ROTORCLEAN devices.
Regulation of the brush revs is possible.
ESUCs with the ROTORCLEAN option may also be used for non-contact cleaning
devices.
3.5.3 Compressed Air Preparation and Control
ESUC supplies the surface cleaning devices of Dr. Escherich GmbH with compressed air.
The integrated compressed air maintenance unit is fed by an external compressed air
system.
