NetGuardian Port

Connect the NetGuardian that will control the Remote Status Panel to the RJ45 NetGuardian port on the right
side of the back panel. The pinout for this port is shown below.

Craft Port

Use the front panel craft port only when a firmware upgrade is required. No provisioning of the unit
should be required. To upgrade firmware, connect the included DB9 download cable from your PC's
COM port to the craft port. Pinout is shown here.

The Remote Status Panel's visual displays are completely controlled by commands from the connected
NetGuardian.
Each one of the LEDs can be associated to alarm points. If there is an active alarm, the LED will be red. If there
are no alarms, the LED will be off. A blinking LED means there was a change of state for the alarm point the
LED was associated with.
