Connectors for power feeds, alarm inputs, control outputs, and communication lines are on the back panel of the
NetGuardian E16, as shown in Figure 4.
LAN Connection

To connect the unit to LAN, insert a standard RJ45 Ethernet cable into the 10/100BaseT Ethernet port on the back
of the unit. If the LAN connection is OK, the LNK LED will light
SOLID GREEN
. The LAN connection may be used
for upgrading the firmware or testing but is not required for the equipment to function properly.
