Subject to change because of technical improvements
Follow the instructions below for assembly and see
the figure above.
1. Lead the flexible hose (6) through the existing pipe
(8).
2. Attach the slide (4) to the lower end of the flexible
hose and secure it with two Parker screws (5).
3. Keep the bottom of the slide even with the bottom
of the pipe or the ceiling. Cut the flexible hose at
approximately 100 mm above the chimney cap.
4. Attach the installation plate-outside (9) to the flex-
ible hose, clamp it with a hose clamp (7) and
secure it all with a Parker screw (5).
5. Attach the installation plate-outside (9) watertight
to the chimney cap with silicon sealant and stain-
less steel screws.
6. Install the roof sleeve (11) and secure it with the
clamping strap included in the delivery (10).
After the roof sleeve is installed, the slide (4)
should extend about 100 mm under the pipe or
ceiling.
7. Attach the installation plate-inside (3) gastight on
the bottom of the flue or on the bottom of the ceil-
ing with silicon sealant and stainless steel
screws.
8. Place the stove (1) as indicated in the chapter
“Installation requirements”.
9. Connect the stove with the lower end of the flue
using concentric components (2). All components
must overlap at least 30 mm and be secured with
clamping straps or stainless steel Parker screws
to prevent them from coming apart. Extend the
concentric pipe at least 100 mm into the existing
flue.
The slide (4) should therefore extend about 200
mm into the inner duct of the top concentric
component. If this is not the case, the flexible
hose (6) will be kinked in the chimney, pre-
venting the system from functioning properly.
11. Finally, install the clamp strap in the installation
plate-inside (3).
Roof sleeve through a flat roof of
flammable material
Read the "Installation Conditions" chapter care-
fully and follow the installation instructions
below.
1. Start at the stove and add the concentric pipes
one at a time, including the changes in direction
you want, along the route you decided on in
advance, up to just under the roof.
2. Decide on the location for the roof sleeve.
3. Make a hole with a 250 mm diameter, so that a fire
separation of 50 mm remains round the pipe.
4. Attach a square installation plate (of at least 300
mm and with a sufficiently large centered round
hole) (1) or 2 centering plates with screws to the
bottom of the roof partition to center the pipe; see
following figure.
5. Insert a clamping strap (2) in the installation plate
by first turning it in and then out.
6. Extend the concentric pipe (3) until it extends at
least 400 mm above the roof surface (more is per-
mitted up to a maximum of 1000 mm stand-alone).
7. Slide the roof sheet (4) over the pipe and tighten it
with screws.
8. Finish the seam between the pipe and the cone of
the roof sheet or lead slab watertight with silicon
sealant and if necessary a storm collar (5).
9. Install the roof sleeve (6) and secure it with the
clamping strap included in the delivery.
10. Make sure the roof sheet is covered watertight.
Use lead, tar and/or silicon sealant for this,
depending on the existing roofing.
