6.1 Maintain the double action
hinge
Check fittings at regular intervals for proper
positioning and smooth running and check the door
for correct adjustment High-usage door systems
require inspection by properly qualified staff
(specialized companies or installation firms). For a
long, trouble-free durability of the TENSOR double
action hinge, dormakaba recommends annual
maintenance by qualified personnel. In case 100,000
operating cycles are achieved within a year, the
maintenance should be pre-scheduled.

During maintenance, the bushings should be
lightly greased at the pivot point with a multi-
functional oil, free from silicone, resin, teflon and
acids!

Check glass leaves for flaking and/or conchoidal
fractures. Replace damaged glass leaves
immediately.
6.2 Cleaning instructions
Only use suitable cleaning and care products to clean
the surfaces.
7 Dismantling and
disposal
Dismantling is carried out in the reverse order of the
mounting instructions and must be done by trained
personnel. When disposing, observe the relevant
national standards and guidelines.
