Installing Forward-
Facing With UAS
NOTE:
Review your vehicle’s owner manual for UAS belt use.
Do not use the vehicle lap or lap/shoulder belt
when using the Universal Anchorage System
(UAS).
Check UAS belt before each use. Use only if the
belt can be tightened properly and securely.
Do not fasten both UAS connectors on the same
UAS anchor bar in the vehicle.
Do not use any recline position except to install
the child restraint flush against the vehicle
seat back. Vehicle seat back must be in the
upright position.
Failure to follow these warnings can result in
serious injury or death.

Preparing UAS for
Forward-Facing Use
Routing UAS Belt
Insert the UAS connector
without the adjuster through
the forward-facing belt path.

Thread UAS Connector
Across to Opposite Side
Pull the UAS connector
across the back and out the
other side as shown. Do not
twist the UAS belt.

NOTE:
Pull the UAS belt out of the rear-facing belt path if
you have used this child restraint rear-facing.
