Inspection, Maintenance and Adjustment

Replace Hydraulic Oil and Clean Oil

Suction Strainer

1.

Raise boom to its highest position. Tilt bucket back as far
as possible, and shut down engine.

NOTE:

See “Fluid Capacities” on page 4-16 for
capacity.

2.

Position a catch tank beneath hydraulic tank drain plug.
Open tank breather cap. (See Figure 19 on page 4-24).
Remove drain plug from bottom of tank. (Figure 102).
Allow all hydraulic oil to drain out.
