4.3 Manual Gate Operation

Caution:

Never attempt to manually operate any gate until you have verified that power to the operator has been shut-off.

Gate Frame

- Cuts off AC

power to the operator.

Manual Crank Stored

Lift cover on padlock bracket end a few inches.

Slide cover horizontal to free cover from chassis cover catch.

Lift cover off vertical.

BE CAREFUL not to hit internal components with cover!

Remove the Cover

Insert the supplied manual hand crank into the motor
shaft underneath the interlock door. Turn the crank to
open the gate. Speed brake model operators

MUST

also have the speed brake manually released before
manually cranking the hand crank.

Speed Brake Release on Select Models

The speed brake

MUST

be manually released (disengaged) with the

release handle 90° before manually operating the gate.

Speed brake will automatically reengage
after power has been restored.
