3.6. Injector replacement / Conversion Kits
The conversion kit shall be installed by a qualified service agent. A qualified service agent is any
individual, form, wcorporation, or company that either in person or through a representative is engaged
in and is responsible for the connection, utilization, repair, or servicing of gas utilization equipment or
accessories, who is experienced in such work, familiar with all precautions required, and has complied
with all the requirements of the Authority Having Jurisdiction.
Before proceeding with the change of the injector, MANDATORY the following steps
:
1.
Disconnect the machine from the electrical network
.
2.
Shut off the gas supply to the machine
.
If the appliance is installed in a country where it is necessary to change the injector diameter or even to
install the appliance ready for operation with another type of approved gas, please call the technical
service to make the change.
Please follow the instructions below to replace the injectors.
TOOLS REQUIRED
1. No 13-socket wrench
2. Manometer
3. Flat-head screwdriver
Propane gas injector (found in the BAG close
to the valve).
WARNING:
This conversion kit shall be installed by a qualified service
agency in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions
and all applicable codes and requirements of the Authority
Having Jurisdiction. If the information in these instructions
is not followed exactly, a fire, explosion or production of
carbon monoxide may result causing property damage,
personal injury, or loss of life. The qualified service
agency is responsible for the proper installation of this kit.
The installation is not proper and complete until the
operation of the converted appliance is checked as
specified in the manufacturer’s instructions supplied with
the kit.
