INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS

Location
Requirements
Selecting the proper location for your appliance im-
proves performance, minimizes noise and possible
appliance movement. Your appliance can be in-
stalled under a custom counter, closet, or recessed
area. See “Drain System Options” (Page 8). Proper
installation is the quali
fi
ed installer's responsibility.

Required Items:

A water heater set to deliver 120°F (49°C)
water to the appliance.
●
A grounded electrical outlet located within 3
ft. (1 m) of where the power cord is attached
to the back of the appliance. See “Electrical
Requirements”.

Hot and cold water faucets located within 3
ft. (1 m) of the hot and cold water
fi
ll valves,
and water pressure of 7.3–145 psi (0.05MPa–
1MPa).

A level

oor with a maximum slope of 2° (2.5
cm) under the entire appliance.

A sturdy and solid
fl
oor to support the appli-
ance's total weight (water and load) of 200 lbs.
Installing the appliance on soft
fl
oor surfaces,
such as carpets or surfaces with foam backing,
is
NOT
recommended.

Do
NOT
operate or store your appliance in
temperatures below 32°F (0°C). Some water
can remain in the appliance and cause dam-
age in low temperatures.

Clearances

appliance door to be fully opened.

Additional spacing should be considered for ease
of installation and servicing. The door opens more
than 90°, and it is

reversible (Fig. 1).

Additional clearances might be required for wall,

Spacing of 1 inch (2.5 cm) on all sides of the ap-
pliance is required (Fig. 2).
