Cleaning and maintenance

Removing dust
➤
Dust the blind regularly with a dust rag, dust glove or a vacuum cleaner with a
brush attachment. Blow excess dust off of your fabric using a can of compressed
air or a hair dryer on a cool setting.
CAUTION! Risk of injury
Parts that come loose may injure people in the vicinity.
•
Blinds must be stowed when underway.
•
Blinds should be stowed before opening windows during windy
conditions.
NOTICE! Risk of damage
•
Do not grease, oil or lubricate the blind. Lubricants will damage the
fabric.
•
Be careful not to crease the fabric when using the brush attachment
of a vacuum cleaner.
•
Rubbing can damage the fabrics.
•
Spot-cleaning may result in cleaner areas than the surrounding.
•
Do not soak the blinds.
•
In the event the fabric of the blind gets wet it should be allowed to
dry with the blind fully deployed.
•
The manufacturer recommends testing any cleaning agents on a
hidden area of the blind first.
