3. Connect the hose to the gas connection port of the cooler.
To do this, use two open-end spanners of 13 mm and 17 mm.
4. Make sure
–
the hose is not crushed or kinked
–
the hose is a safe distance from the burner
5. Take the safety cap off the safety coupling of the gas port.
6. Push the sleeve of the hose into the safety coupling until you hear it latch.
7. Open the valve on the safety coupling.
8. Open the valve of the gas cylinder or container.

9. Check all connections with leak spray.
There are no leaks at the connections if
no
bubbles form.
Disconnecting the cooler from the external gas supply (ACX3 30 and
ACX3 40)
1. Close the valve of the gas port‘s safety coupling.
2. Disconnect the hose by pushing the sleeve towards the valve handle.
3. Put the cap onto the safety coupling.
4. Turn the cooling level controller (fig.
2, page 5) anti-
clockwise as far as it will go (position “
”).

Note the following country-specific gas type and gas pressure categories:
1. Perform a visual inspection of the hose (for cracks, weathering, damage).
WARNING!
Never check for leaks with an open flame or near sources of ignition.
