The switch has two bi-color LEDs visible through the cabinet on both sides indicating status for each of the 8 PCI Express
links.

The NTB link LED is only controlled by firmware. Both LEDs depends on GPIO registers initialized by EEPROM. An incorrect
EEPROM can cause dark LEDs.
