PIN1 code and PIN2 code Default : 0000
These codes are set to the UIM (FOMA card).
PIN1 code is a 4- to 8-digit number (code) and must be entered every
time you insert the UIM (FOMA card) into the FOMA terminal or turn
on the handset power. PIN2 code is a 4- to 8-digit password that you
enter when using or requesting user certificates or performing tasks
such as resetting total call charges.
You can change the number.

PUK (Personal Unlock Key)
The PUK (Personal Unlock Key) is an 8-digit number used to unlock
PIN1 or PIN2. It is written on application form (copy for customer)
at time of subscription. The PUK (Personal Unlock Key) cannot be
changed.

If the wrong PUK (Personal Unlock Key) is entered ten times in a row, the UIM
(FOMA card) is then completely locked. In this case, contact a docomo Shop
Service Counter.

Notes on the security codes
・
When selecting a security code, avoid using personal information such
as date of birth, telephone number, street address/room number, "1111"
and "1234" that may be guessed by a third party. Keep records of your
security codes.

Keep your security code private.
If the security code is disclosed to others and abused, DOCOMO shall
have no liability for any damage due to any unauthorized use of it.
・
If you have forgotten your security codes, please bring your FOMA
terminal, UIM (FOMA card) and official documents that verifies your
identity, such as a driver's license, to a docomo Shop Service Counter.
