You can exchange text messages of up to 70 double-
byte characters (160 single-byte characters if the message
consists only of single-byte characters) using mobile phone
numbers as addresses.

• To save a message (SMS) as a draft, tap twice
after entering address and part of message.
Information
• You can exchange messages (SMS) with subscribers
of overseas operators. For available countries and overseas
operators, refer to "Mobile Phone User's Guide [International
Services]" or DOCOMO International Services website.
• To send a message (SMS) to a subscriber of an overseas
operator, enter "+" followed by "country code" and "the other
party's mobile phone number". If the mobile phone number
starts with "0", omit "0". Alternatively, enter "010" followed
by "country code" and "the other party's mobile phone
number" (when replying to a message (SMS) from overseas,
always enter "010").
