The Bluetooth function is a technology that enables
wireless connection with Bluetooth devices such as PCs
and handsfree headsets.

z

Wireless connection with all Bluetooth devices is not
completely guaranteed.

z

NOTE

z

The Bluetooth on/off setting does not change with
handset powered off.

z

You can turn off the Bluetooth function to reduce
battery consumption.

Radio interference with Wi-Fi-compatible devices

z

Bluetooth devices and wireless LAN (IEEE 802.11 b/
g/n) use the same frequency band (2.4 GHz). Using
the handset near a wireless LAN device may cause
interference, resulting in lower communication speed,
noise, and poor connection. In this instance, turn off
the wireless LAN device or keep the handset and the
connected Bluetooth device at least 10 m away from
the wireless LAN.

Using the Bluetooth function

Before connecting the handset and the Bluetooth device,
pair them first.

Once paired, pairing information is saved.

z

A passcode (PIN) may be required to pair the devices.
The handset's passcode (PIN) is "0000".
If pairing cannot be completed after entering "0000",
see the instructions for the Bluetooth device.

z

Check on the device to be paired that the Bluetooth
function is on and that it is discoverable beforehand.
