Circuit Breaker Test System User’s Guide

Unplug the AC power cord from the power receptacle.

Unplug the AC power cord from the Instrument.

Remove the Safety Switch cable from the

SAFETY

receptacle on the

Instrument.

Remove safety grounds from the circuit breaker.

Unlock and remove the tags from the isolating disconnects.

10.

Remove the ground cable from the connection to the ground grid.

11.

Restore the circuit breaker to service.

Disconnecting After
a First Trip/Close
Test

To disconnect after a First Trip/Close test:

Turn the power switch to OFF.

OTE

Disconnect the cables from the circuit breaker end first.

Disconnect the Doble current probe from the CT secondary phases.

Disconnect Doble current probes from the selected relay coil circuits.

Disconnect the Analog cable across the DC supply switch.

Disconnect the Auxiliary Contact cables from the selected contacts.

Disconnect:

• Trigger In cables across the 52CS/T contacts.

• Auxiliary Contact cables across the 52CS/T contacts.

Unplug the Breaker Control cable from the Instrument.

Unplug the AC power cord from the power receptacle.

Unplug the AC power cord from the Instrument.

10.

Remove the Safety Switch cable from the

SAFETY

receptacle on the

Instrument.

11.

Disconnect the TDR9000 ground connection to circuit breaker
ground.

12.

Remove the ground cable from the connection to the ground grid.
