The “Not yet” marking indicates pre-section or skipped status.
The “Done” marking indicates that the section preparation is
completed with the sample.
*Stain Name, Thickness and Glass (Slide) Type are specified by the stain code. Refer to the
4-5-1 “Input of the sectioning information (Stain Information)”.
Status indication
Block set number: Searched number of the blocks on a sample tray.
Sectioning block number: Number of the blocks that matched with the registered-data sample block.
Slide number: Necessary slide numbers for the slide preparation.
Expected completion time: Indicates the time when all of the set numbers of sections are to be
produced. (An estimated time. It varies depending on the settings for
the rough cutting, auto trimming and the print settng, etc.)
Editing of the Stain/ Sectioning Condition
Click this box to change the conditions of stain name, sectioning
condition (thickness, number, glass type) and the sectioning
option.
Automatic start after the sample information acquisition
Click this box to start automatic-sectioning after searching all
sample block data and the indication.
Start
:
System becomes active after the data acquisition.
Click this button to start sectioning.
Recheck
:
The system reads data again.
Print : The system prints the sectioning information.
Back
: Return to the Main Menu.
5 – 2 Sample setting
The 96-Sample Feeding Unit has four shelves to accommodate four 24-Sample trays. The four
24-Sample trays (detachable) have Nos. 1 to 24, Nos. 25 to 48, Nos. 49 to 72, and Nos. 73 to 96
respectively. Samples are processed in order to their position numbers from “1” to “96.”
Set samples in the 24-Sample trays. Then, follow the steps on the next page to set the tray with
Nos. 1 to 24 onto the top shelf, the one with Nos. 25 to 48 onto the second shelf, the one with Nos.
49 to 72 onto the third shelf, and the one with Nos. 73 to 96 onto the bottom shelf. Processing
