Cleaning the Platen Roller
Attention
Only use the pre-saturated wipes from this kit. Avoid sharp edges when cleaning the printer.
You should only clean the platen roller if you are instructed to do so by technical support.
1.
Clean the platen roller if you experience soft, blurry lines on your prints that run in the same direction of the print
feed.
2.
Release the open lever and open the front cover.
3.
Remove the ribbon tray and set it aside.
4.
Remove the paper spools and set them aside.
5.
Using the provided pre-saturated wipe, wipe the platen roller while rotating the roller slightly. Use a clean portion of
the wipe for each swipe.
6.
Wait at least 3 minutes for the roller to dry, then replace the paper and ribbon.
7.
Close the printer securely and wait for the printer to initialize.
