3 Function
The DITECH Smart Home iL AP-Pluggable Switch (DT5645) resp. the DITECH Smart
Home iL AP-Pluggable Switch and Meter (DT5646) allow the switching of connect-
ed consumers as e. g. electric heaters or lamps. As compared to the DITECH Smart
Home iL AP-Pluggable Switch DT5645, the DITECH Smart Home iL AP-Pluggable
Switch and Meter DT5646 can additionally measure the energy consumptions as
well as the voltage, the current and the power of connected devices. Using the
DITECH Smart Home iL App the energy consumption of connected consumers can
be displayed and their energy cost (€/kWh) can be calculated.
Communication with other components is performed via the Homematic (HmIP)
radio protocol. Radio transmission is realised on a non-exclusive transmission path;
thus, interference cannot be completely excluded. Interference can be caused e. g.
by switching processes, electric motors or defective electric appliances.
The range inside buildings can be strongly different from the range in open
air.
