If the code for your TV is not in the TV Codes tables
starting on page 32, complete the following instructions to
scan for your TV’s code.

1. Make sure your TV is on.

2. Hold

until

lights turn on (it takes

about five seconds).

3. Release

light flashes.

4. Press

light stays on.

5. Press

until the TV turns OFF. You

will have to do this repeatedly to scan through all
codes.

Note

: If

flashes eight times, you have tried

every code in the remote control.

6. Press the

MUTE

to finish programming the remote

control. The

light will flash three times.

7. Turn your TV back on by pressing

again and

try the other buttons below to make sure they work.

Press the

on your TV.

your TV.

•

Press

to change the TV volume.

If the buttons work, you have found the correct
code for your TV and you may want to go to page 8
to set up

. If the buttons do not work, go back to

step 2 to find another code.
