Disconnect factory 16-pin XM radio plug (See

) from radio (See

). To disconnect, pull back blue locking tab, then press and pull
black tab to release plug. (See

Warning:
GM radios have multiple 16-pin connectors
“keyed” to avoid
connecting errors. The 16-
pin plug included is “Keyed” to fit only the
XM
connector on factory radio (See
Fig.3
)
When disconnecting factory plug, do not pull wires. Grasp plug to
remove.

Connect factory 16-pin plug to adapter harness 16-pin connector
(See
Fig. 5

Connect adapter 16-pin plug to radio cavity vacated in step 4

Carefully route audio jack (See
Fig. 6
) to a location on dash or nearby
panel where it will be mounted (within 4 ft). Final install location varies
by
vehicle and customer’s preference.

Optional:
Drill a ¼” hole in dash
or panel. Push jack threated shaft
through hole and secure with nut (See
