Pre-Filter Kit Installation Guide
This document is to be used as a guide for the installation of the Direction-Plus™ Fuel Manager™ FM100 pre-
filter Kit to a Ford Ranger / Mazda BT-50 2011-2017. It is recommended that the installation of the product be
carried out by a competent qualified mechanic.
Important before starting
•
Ensure the engine bay is clean and free from contaminants
•
The fuel manager filter head has direction arrows indicating the direction of flow
•
You have the correct tools to complete the fitment
•
Read the instructions in full and familiarize yourself with the installation before commencing any work

Installation Guide
1.
Remove the 10mm head bolt from the top left corner of the fuse box (looking towards the rear of the
vehicle) and the 13mm head bolt from the ABS unit mount
2.
Place bracket in the engine bay with the flat side towards the firewall. Line up the bolt holes on base of
the bracket with the holes for the fuse box and the ABS unit.
3.
The mounting hole on the top of the pre-filter bracket will line up with a trim clip securing the cowling
cover. Remove this clip
4.
Reinstall the bolts removed from the ABS mount and the fuse box, securing the base
5.
Reinstall the trim clip removed from the cowling cover, passing through the top mounting hole of the
pre-filter bracket and securing it.
