Choosing and Setting a Timer Mode

Your Quantum controller comes pre-programmed

with a set of operating periods. There are four op

tions available - three preset (Work Week, Home

All Day and Holiday), and one user setup (Manu

-

al).
The preset options include days and times (out

-

lined below) that are pre-programmed to release

heat based on temperature set points.
The heater is programmed so that the amount of

heat that is stored is adjusted depending on the

time of the year, i.e. in January the heater will be

using the full capacity of the storage capabilities

and in April only a portion will be used. Also the

settings for the months May - August the storage

ability is disabled, so if the controller calls for heat

the supplemental element will provide it and no

heat will be stored.

!

 NOTE:

The Work Week, Home all Day and

Manual timer modes will use the comfort tempera

-

ture during the “On” times and a setback tempera

-

ture during the “Off” times.

How to set the setback

temperature can be found under the description of the

“Options” Menu in this document.
