Using the Main Menu
HDD
Format a new hard disk and configure internal
hard disk settings.
To initialize the hard disk:
1. From the System menu, select
HDD
and
press the
button.
2. From the HDD menu, press the
button
to open the HDD Initialize screen.
3. Select
YES
and press the
button.
[Select
NO
and press the
button to
cancel, or the
button.] The system
formats the hard disk, erasing all recorded
video data. System settings and
configurations remain intact. After a few
moments the system returns to the HDD
menu.
4. Press the
button on the remote
control until you see the Save/Exit screen.
Select
SAVE ONLY
or
SAVE AND EXIT
to save your settings.
NOTE:
If you replace the internal 2.5" hard
disk, you should
always
initialize the new
disk. If you do not initialize (format) the new
hard disk, it may not be properly read by the
system.

• FIRMWARE UPDATE
