Digi ConnectTank Management and
Configuration
This chapter describes configuration settings for Device Cloud.
Adding Digi ConnectTank to Device Cloud
Device Cloud is an on-demand service with no infrastructure requirements. Remote devices and enterprise
business applications connect to Device Cloud through standards-based web services.
Note that for initial test and development with the Digi ConnectTank, you can use a developer account. When
deploying Digi ConnectTank devices in the field, you will need a premiere account to use all the features of
Digi ConnectTank.

To configure your Digi ConnectTank device to utilize Device Cloud, follow these steps:

a. If you already have a Device Cloud account, log in with your existing user name and password.
b. If you are a new user, click the

link and follow the on-screen instructions to create
an account.
3. Once logged in, select the
Devices
menu from the
Device Management
tab.
4. On the top left of the page click
Add Devices
within to open the
Add Devices
page. On the
Add
Devices
page, click the
Add Manually
button.
Note that you cannot use the
Discover
button to discover your devices automatically, as they are not available
on the local network.

Enter the device number of your device into the field provided. The device number is eith
er Device ID#
or the IMEI#, depending upon your device model.
