Basic information
The basic function of the Recycling Module, Generation Four Vertical (RM4V) is to deliver media (bank
notes and other valuable documents) to the consumer that is easy to grasp and remove with one hand
single motion.
The Lower Unit (
) deposits media into cassettes and dispenses media to the consumer after
the network or controller processes a consumer's request. During the deposit cycle the system denomi-
nates, validates, counts and stores the media in the recycle cassettes.
The media is drawn from the cassettes and transported to the system's withdrawal area. If the media is
too mutilated or crumpled to dispense, or if a multiple pick occurs, the RM4V sends the media to the All-
In cassette.
