4.7. Set to work
Put the high pressure cleaner as much as possible in a horizontal position.
Connect the spray gun with the high pressure hose (without spray lance) to the high pressure cleaner.
Turn the main switch to position ON. Starts the engine with key (electrically) or with the pull rope (by hand) until
the engine starts. Aim the spray gun in to the free space and operate the spray gun until the water jet is complete-
ly de aerated (+- 30 sec.). Turn the main switch to position OFF. Connect the spray lance to the spray gun.
Operate the spray gun and check the working pressure on the pressure gauge.
Adjust if necessary the pressure regulator for the right spray pressure.
4.8. Pumps HT
There must be present a pre- pressure (pump) at HT pumps (pumps with high temperature).
The pre- pressure (pump) must provide for sufficient flow of water to feed the pump and to occur cavitation.
Cavitation is the phenomenon that in a moving fluid the local pressure is going to be lower than the vapour pres-
sure of the fluid. Because of this mist bells will arise who can implode with high power in the pump and could
cause damages. For all these applications at high temperature, it is ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL to feed the pump
with positive pressure (at least 3 bar) and with a sufficient quantity of water.
4.9. Start with diesel motor
Starting with diesel motor happens with the speed adjuster. First of all set the speed adjuster to the STOP po-
sition. Then move it to the starting position or 1/2 start position.
Starting at a lower speed will help to prevent exhaust smoke.
Pay attention: motor with a fixed lower idling speed cannot be switched off using the speed adjustment lever.
Electric start:
Insert the key to its stop and turn it to
position I.
Depending upon the model, the battery charge telltale „2“ and the oil pressure warning light „3“ will shine.
The motor temperature display „4“ (additional) lights up if the temperature at the cylinder head becomes too high.
Switch off the engine and trace and eliminate the cause of the problem.
Turn the key to
position II
. Release the key as soon as the motor runs.
The starting key must spring back to
position I
and remain there during motor operation.
The battery charge and oil pressure lights should extinguish directly, the display lamp „1“ lights up to show that the
motor is running. Prior to starting up again, the key has to be returned to
position 0
.
When the motor is running the starter repeat lock in the ignition switch will prevent the starter from engaging and
suffering damage.
Option: preheated system - when starting a cold motor, the preheat indicator „5“ will light.
Start the motor immediately when the light goes out.
