8.3 PLATFORM LOCKS

The DH-P* lifts are available with 3 types of platform locks, with a different mode of operation.
Automatic lock with gas cylinder mounted on 1 side
only (ref. OWF014.1)

Standard on all DH-P* lifts

This lock contains a gas cylinder, so that it only
locks the platform in case of a slow hydraulic
pressure loss. In normal conditions with the lift
remaining at full pressure, this lock remains
inactive.
Automatic lock with gas cylinder mounted on 2 sides
(ref. OWF014.2)

Optional on DH-PH2* / P2* lifts

These locks on both sides of the platform
contain a gas cylinder each, so that they only
lock the platform in case of a slow hydraulic
pressure loss. In normal conditions with the lift
remaining at full pressure, these locks remain
inactive.
Manual lock with spring mounted on 1 side
(ref. OWF015)

Optional on DH-PH2* / P2* lifts

This lock engages automatically when the
platform is closed, and must be released
manually every time before opening the
platform.

Prior to opening the platform (= DEPLOY), ALWAYS press STOW to pressurise the platform in its travel
position. Only when you have checked if the platform remains properly pressurised in its travel position,
you can safely open it (= DEPLOY).

Do NOT open the platform lock or deploy the platform if the platform is visibly tilting down by itself.
