8.7 SAFETY BELT [OPTION OAT801]

Safety belts [option OAT801] are available to provide additional fixation of the platform to the vehicle body. Their purpose is to
secure the platform and prevent it from moving forward in case of heavy braking or a front collision.

One end of the belts is already premounted to the platform.

The other end must be attached to a stronger structural element of the body work of the vehicle, positioned in line with the
platform or more towards the rear of the vehicle.

Don’t tighten the safety belts too hard as this might put unwanted stress on the ramp and vehicle body.
