5.2.2.2 [INITIALIZE TEST] TAB
The [Tools] , [Options] , [Initialize Test] tab is used to set user preferences
affecting the initialization portion of test execution. The test initialization steps
can be adjusted to avoid extra prompts and/or checks performed during the test
initialization process.
The purpose of the [Initialize Test] tab fields and settings as well as instructions
on how to use them are provided in Table 27 . When selections are complete,
click [OK] to save changes or select another tab to change other options.

Verify remote SN of
DHI DUT’s
(check box)
Displays a warning when DHI device setup SN and remote SN do not match The serial
number of a DH Instruments device that has the
<Auto Detect> setup option enabled is
automatically read during test initialization. This serial number is automatically compared
to the serial number specified in the device definition. If this option is checked, a warning
message displays when the serial numbers do not match. This is an easy way to help
guarantee that the proper instruments are used during tests.
Do not check this option if the serial number specified for DH instruments products
includes information other than the serial number of the device.
Set DUT molbox to
test gas and unit of
measure
(check box)
Check this option to force GFS Tools to change the unit of measure and gas information
of a DUT molbox to the settings required by the GFS during test initialization.
Prompt for
MFC-Switchbox
(check box)
Check this option when an MFC switchbox will be used with the system. An option to
select the MFC switchbox channel is available when configuring a device during test
initialization.
Disable entry of K
factors for DHI
products
(check box)
Check this option to always use 1 as the K factor for a DHI molbloc DUT. This option is
provided to help avoid logging erroneous or inconsistent data caused by an incorrect K
factor.
