Fully engage the spring loaded screws in a cross pattern such as 1-3-5-2-4-6 until the carrier is firmly
attached to the cylinder.
Use the 0.9mm Hex driver to prevent the screws from further engaging while using a
5.5mm wrench to l
ock the screws in place with the lock nuts.
Re-check the alignment per Section 6.3 and adjust as necessary.
The carrier can be further secured to the cylinder by using small amounts of a clear latex or silicone
caulk, keeping in mind that the carrier will need to be removed eventually for the next hydrostatic test or
cylinder replacement.
The cylinder assembly is now ready to return to use.
6.7 CHECK/CHANGE FLUID IN HEAT EXCHANGER
Over time the fluid in the Heat Exchanger may evaporate or become stagnant. If this occurs the
exchanger may lose some of its effectiveness.
If the Heat Exchanger was weighed previously and the mass recorded, weigh the Exchanger again and
compare the current mass to the original prepared mass. If the masses agree within 10% no action need
be taken.
If the fluid needs to be checked or replaced, then remove the lid and add fluid or discard the fluid
appropriately and refill the Exchanger as in Section 3.3.14.
6.8 RELEVEL SYSTEM SURFACES
Generally if the bubble level on the AMH-GFS2102 still indicates level and there are no issues with
system performance then no actions need be performed.
Starting with the granite vibration isolation table, check/adjust the level of the surface as described in Section 3.3.1.
Check/adjust the balance tray level as described in Section 3.3.10.
Check/adjust the level of the AMH-GFS2102 as described in Section 3.3.12.
6.9 LEAK CHECK THE FLOW PATH
Perform leak tests as described in Section 4.4.4.
