of wood.

ASSEMBLY AND ADJUSTMENTS

Adjusting the Depth of Cut (Fig. C)
Turn the planing depth adjustment knob

to the required
depth of cut.
One graduation corresponds to a depth of cut of 0.1 mm.
Attaching and Removing the Parallel Fence
(Fig. A, B, D)
The parallel fence

is used for optimum tool control on
narrow workpieces.
1. Slacken the wing bolt

2. Fit the parallel fence

in the hole

from either side.
3. Tighten the wing bolt.
4. To remove the parallel fence, proceed in reverse order.
Removing Reversible Cutters (Fig. E)
1. Loosen the three bolts

with the spanner

supplied.
2. Flap the side guard

up.
3. Slide the cutter

out of its holder.
4. Reverse the cutter or replace it.
WARNING:
Always replace both cutters.
5. Slide the cutter into the holder. Make sure that the cutter is
flush with the planing shoe

6. Tighten the three bolts

Prior to Operation:
Adjust the depth of cut.
If necessary, fit and adjust the parallel fence.

Proper hand position requires one hand on the main handle

Switching On and Off (Fig. A, B)
Your planer is equipped with a safety switch to prevent
inadvertent operation.
1. Switching on: press the lock-off button

and subsequently
press the on/off switch

2. Release the lock-off button

3. Switching off: release the on/off switch

Always switch off the tool when work is finished and
before unplugging.
Planing (Fig. A, B)
1. Switch the tool on as described.
2. Slowly move the planer over the workpiece.
WARNING:
The feed speed should not be too high,
especially when using the maximum depth of cut and
planing width.
nOtE:
Remember that several shallow cuts are better than one
deep cut.
3. Switch the tool off.

. After switching
off the tool can be put down without waiting for the cutters to
come to a standstill.
Dust Extraction
Whenever possible, connect a dust extraction device designed
in accordance with the relevant regulations regarding
dust emission.
