8.3.5 COPY SETTING 1
• COPY SETTING 1 is used to set the default values for different copy functions.
A. PAPER PRIORITY
B. DENSITY PRIORITY
C. DENSITY LEVEL (A)
D. DENSITY LEVEL (M)
Purpose/Use • To display or clear the total count value of a specific account.
• To clear the total count values of all accounts under control.
Setting/
Procedure <Display/Clear Procedure>
1. Select “DISPLAY” and press the [Yes] key.
2. Select the access number, for which the count is to be checked, and press the [Yes]
key.
3. The total count value of the access number selected will be displayed.

To clear the count value, press the [No] key. (To step 4)
To quit the function without clearing the count value, press the [Yes] key.
4. Press the [No] key to clear the count value.
5. When the count value has been cleared, quit the function by pressing the [Yes] key.
<All Clear Procedure>
1. Select “CLEAR” and press the [Yes] key.
2. When you are prompted to confirm if all count values are to be cleared, press the
[Yes] key.
Purpose/Use To set the priority paper source.
Setting/
Procedure • The default setting is “1ST.”
“1ST” 2ND 3RD 4TH 5TH BYPASS
Purpose/Use To set the priority image quality mode and density that are selected when the Power
Switch is turned ON or the Panel Reset key is pressed.
Setting/
Procedure • The default setting is “TEXT/P” and “AUTO.”
Image quality mode: TEXT PHOTO “TEXT/P”
Density: “AUTO” MANUAL

“TEXT/P” means “TEXT/PHOTO.”
Purpose/Use To set the density level when the Auto density is selected.

Procedure • The default setting is “0.”
Setting range: -1 (LIGHT) to +1 (DARK)
Purpose/Use To set the density level when the Manual density is selected.

Procedure • The default setting is “0.”
Setting range: -4 (LIGHT) to +4 (DARK)
