Local Setup for Diagnostic (LSD)

About Local Setup for Diagnostic (LSD)

By installing Local Setup for Diagnostic (LSD) onto a computer connected to
this machine, you can change machine settings and check the counters and
machine status from the computer.

The following operations can be performed using LSD.

-

Save machine one-touch dialing, speed dialing and group dialing
information onto a computer.

-

Change machine one-touch dialing, speed dialing and group dialing
information.

-

Specify settings in the machine’s Utility mode.

-

Check the counters.

-

Check the configuration page.

LSD operating environment

The following environment is required in order to install LSD onto a
computer.

Interface used for connecting

USB interface with a USB cable

Note

Use a USB cable, 4 pin male USB type A-male -4 pin male USB type
B-male. It is recommended that the USB cable be no more than 3 meters
long.
