1ƒPick-up
: This accepts a call
for another telephone in your
pick-up group.
If a called subscriber is a mem-
ber of an - additional - user
group for which pickup protec-
tion (
Prevent Pickup
) is active,
then you cannot pick up calls to
his number.
■
2ƒPick-up select
: After you
enter the telephone number,
this accepts a call made to any
other telephone. If the other
telephone is already in the call
state (e.g. an answering ma-
chine is in announcement
mode), you pick up the call.
If a called subscriber is a mem-
ber of a user group for which
pickup protection (
Prevent
Pickup
) is active, then you can-
not selectively pick up calls to
his number.

: After enter-
ing the telephone number, you
can initiate an announcement
on another system telephone.

2ƒDoor opener
: This activates
the door opener.

: This opens the
personal Telephone Book (see

: This leaves a re-
quest with another internal user
whose line is engaged to call you
back (not possible with hunt
group numbers).

2ƒVIP call
: Even if the call-
protection, call-waiting protec-
tion or call-diversion feature is
activated on the terminal of the
internal user you call, this func-
tion overrides these restrictions
and signals your call (n.b.: it only
works if the user has a system
telephone).

: This switches you
backwards and forwards be-
tween the party you are cur-
rently on the line with and the
one with whom you last spoke.

: This connects the
party on hold with the person
currently on the line.

: This switches the mi-
crophone in the handset or ter-
minal
