Entering/Deleting Digits
If numerical inputs are longer than
the display field, the digits are pushed
to the left out of the visible area.
Using the plus/minus key
you can move the cursor and display
the invisible digits again. The digits
on the right will then disappear from
the display field. Inputs are always
made to the immediate left of the
cursor position. A short press of the
C key
deletes
individual
digits, whereas pressing and holding
the key deletes the complete entry.
Deleting Lists
In displayed lists (e.g. the call list)
you delete individual items from the
list with a short press of the C key
. Pressing and holding the
C key deletes the entire list, but only
after the query
Are you sure?
appears. Press
to delete the
list.
Entering Text
In input lines for text, the numerical
keypad automatically switches to
the entry of letters. You can enter
the following characters by repeat-
edly pressing the number keys:
The entry position moves automati-
cally if you pause briefly between
your inputs or if you enter a new
character. Pressing and holding a
key switches your entry to lower
case mode. The lower case mode
remains in effect until you press and
hold a key again. You can move the
cursor by using the plus/minus key
. Inputs are always made to
the immediate left of the cursor po-
sition. A short press of the C key
deletes individual digits/
characters, whereas pressing and
holding the key deletes the com-
plete entry (in front of the cursor).
