Kit contains:

1 - Mounting Bracket (for LDL log sets only) with 2 screws

disconnecTing exisTing proflame componenTs

1.  Turn unit off and allow to cool.

2. 

for ldl log sets:

 To access receiver, remove left front crossover log 

and left front log.

 

for lmfp fireplace:

 Receiver is located in compartment behind bottom 

louver.

3.  Remove batteries from receiver and hand transmitter. Set aside for use 

in new remote system. Use new batteries if you are unsure of battery 
life.

4.  Disconnect  stepper  motor  cable  from  connection  labeled  “motor”  on 

receiver (see Figure 1).

5.  Disconnect red and black wires from the TH and TPTH connection at 

control valve. Leave red and white wire from thermopile connected (see 
Figure 2).

preparing new proflame componenTs

1.  Remove replacement receiver and hand transmitter from kit. Install 3  AAA 

batteries from old hand transmitter. Be sure to orient positive and negative 
on batteries as shown in Figure 3.

2.  Place 4 AA batteries into receiver as shown. Be sure to orient positive 

and negative on batteries as shown in Figure 3.

for ldl log seTs

1.  Remove old bracket from LDL chassis. Keep screws for step 4.
2.  Insert new receiver through opening in bracket provided with this kit. Use 

2 screws from kit to secure receiver to bracket.

3.  Secure receiver cover to receiver with two screws provided with cover.
4.  Secure receiver assembly to LDL chassis using existing screws removed 

in step 1 (see Figure 4).

for lmfp fireplaces

The receiver can lay loose in the control valve area with no bracket. Position 
receiver to the front of fireplace, facing forward.
