The limits given in the set-up, if there are any, are used to calculate the CMK value.
Otherwise, the limits from “CMK Settings” (see
Changing the Limit Values
) are used.
NOTE
The machine performance index CM and CMK are first calculated when
more than 5 measurement values have been taken. However evaluation is
only worthwhile after 50 measurements.
11.3.1 Changing the Limit Values
The limit values for the statistics can only be altered if there are no limits entered for the
measurement values (maximum and minimum or target and tolerance) in the set-up. If
limits are already entered for the measurement values and these limits need to be
altered for the calculation of the statistics, then the limit values must be changed directly
in the settings (see
Set Up
).

mk
calculations result from the set limit values. To change the limit values
click on CHANGE LIMITS.
