5 Cleaning, maintenance and validation
5.1 Check & Clean process

Operating Instructions DAC Universal

Insert Check & Clean lid

Frequency: Weekly or every 50 cycles (whichever comes first).

The DAC Universal is switched on and is in the Check & Clean
process menu.

The Check & Clean lid is available.

Go to the next Check & Clean option by pressing the "

Next Check &

Clean step" function key.

Or go a step further in this Check & Clean option by pressing the
"

Navigate to next step" function key.

04:00 PM

Place the Check & Clean lid at the front on the DAC Universal
holder and insert it straight into the holder.

NOTE

Make sure that the lid is inserted all the way into the holder.

WARNING

Risk of contamination!

Make sure there are no objects in the chamber.

5.1.6

Check the safety ring

Frequency: Weekly or every 50 cycles (whichever comes first).

This function must be checked to ensure that the safety ring works and
the Check & Clean process can be started.

The DAC Universal is switched on and is in the Check & Clean
process menu.

The Check & Clean lid is correctly inserted into the holder.

Go a step further in this Check & Clean option by pressing the
"

Navigate to next step" function key.

04:00 PM

Press down on the safety ring to start the Check & Clean process.

The lid closes.

CAUTION

If you cannot start the Check & Clean process with the safety ring, the
safety ring setup is faulty. The device must then not be used. Please
contact your authorized dealer.
