Wax-up with the Ankylos

Regular C/X 3-in-1 cap

The Ankylos Regular C/X 3-in-1
cap can also be used as a wax-up
coping. Select the cap according
to the abutment design or
the angulation of the original
abutment, then smooth off the
lateral horizontal grooves for the
transfer and place the cap on the
abutment. Remove the retention
ring on the tapered section and
roughen the cap prior to casting
with wax or synthetic material.

Cemented suprastructure on

Ankylos Regular /X and C/

abutment

For cemented suprastructures,
wax up crown or bridge on the
cap as usual. The framework
and veneering correspond with
the current dental procedures
for metal-ceramic or all-ceramic
suprastructures.
Please observe the manufacturer’s
directions. The cap can be fired out
without leaving a residue.
