10.2 Rechargeable Battery Cartridge Replacement Method

When the time in which the scanner can be used becomes noticeably shorter despite charging the rechargeable battery
cartridge, replace the rechargeable battery cartridge.

Note:

The rechargeable battery cartridge is perishable and as such its life is limited. The length of its life depends on the

usage conditions.

Furthermore, follow the procedure below to remove the rechargeable battery cartridge when the scanner has malfunctioned.

(1) Remove the screw of the lower housing on the bottom of the scanner.

(2) Open the lower housing.

Open the housing carefully as a cable is connected to the lower housing.

(3) Remove the rechargeable battery cartridge from the scanner.

(4) Disconnect the battery cable connector.

Note: Always hold the connector when disconnecting the battery cable connector. Pulling the cable may break it.
