Maintenance Settings
•
MIDI Trans Interval:
In the rare instance that your
connected computer cannot correctly receive real-
time MIDI messages from MCX8000 (while using
Serato DJ), this setting determines a specific
interval at which MCX8000 will send its MIDI
messages. The available range is
3
–
10msec
. We
recommend using the default value,
4msec
.
•
Touch Sensitivity Left
/
Right:
These settings
determine how sensitive the left and right platters
are to your touch. This customizes the platters’
touch-capacitive circuitry to your body’s natural
electrical capacitance and ambient conditions.
Adjust these settings only if the platters are not
responding to your touch or are responding before
you actually make physical contact with them.
•
Factory Default:
Select
OK
to return MCX8000
and its Utility menu settings to the original default
values/settings. Select
Cancel
to leave all settings
as they are.
•
Update Firmware:
Select
OK
to update
MCX8000’s firmware with the file on a connected
USB drive. Select
Cancel
to retain the current
firmware. These options are available only when a
connected USB drive contains a valid MCX8000
firmware file. Visit
